Silver Necklace with Peridot on long Exclamation mark pendant (sold out)

Solid sterling silver pendant with a round faceted AAA Peridot. I have choosen this shape, the shape of an exclamation mark, due to the fact that semantically an exclamation mark inicates strong feelings. Believe it or not, but this symbol was apparently introduced in the 15th century and was first called the Note of Admiration.
Peridot has been mined as a gemstone for thousands of years, and is mentioned in the bible under the name of Chrysolite. Legend says that Peridot was one of the favourite gemstones of Cleopatra and that some of the 'Emeralds' worn by her were actually Peridot.

Peridot is thought to bring the wearer good luck, peace and sucess.
